Susan Muaddi Darraj is a fiction writer, critic, and editor. Her short story collection, The Inheritance of Exile, received ForeWord’s Book of the Year Award in 2007 for Short Fiction. Susan is also Associate Professor of English at Harford Community College in Bel Air, Maryland, and a Lecturer in the graduate writing program at The Johns Hopkins University.
